Just Us

Tomorrow Nate is leaving for the field for a week... it's the last week we will ever have to spend apart, and the last time he will HAVE to live in a tent (we may go camping some day... ).

We decided this weekend was just for us... just to fill our weekend with lots of fun things! We woke up late yesterday, went for a run, made pancakes, layed around and watched TV... and then we went to the beach! Of course I forgot my camera, there was MEU off shore doing some training exercises! It was SOO cool, I got to see LCAC for the first time! It was taller than the pier. After the beach we came home for a bit, went in the pool, and then went to the Carnival they had on base this weekend. It was really neat, would have been so much fun for kids. They just had bunch of rides and game (which we lost!) and food. We stayed there about an hour and then went to Chilli's for dinner! It was really such a great day, just the two of us!! :)

This morning we are off to church and then we are going to cuddle in at home. We are supposed to get some REALLY bad weather this afternoon/night. All the weather man will say is strong and very severe storms! Good think Nateeee does not leave until tomorrow!
