We did our part to enjoy our summer weather... which it certainly was because at 6:30 when we arrived at the park the temperature had dropped from 105 to 100! We did not mind though, and neither did many other people! It was busy!! We got there just as the Marine Coptor was coming in to land.... and of course they had a few trucks and tanks to show off! There was a ton of food... Nate had to take advantage of the Funnel Cakes... there wont be many more chances for those, one of the many editable things we will miss about the south!! (he would not smile so please excuse his silly picture!) I also had to snap a picture of this vendor... I have never seen a Pepsi stand shaped like a Pepsi can!! It was neat! There were a lot of raffles... Target gave away 200 kids bicycles!! We tried to win a tool box... but had no luck! The night ended with fireworks, but we did not stay... it was getting late and our puppy would be looking for his bedtime walk.... so we headed home. It was a really great night though!

EXCUSE me!!!! but WE do have funnel cakes in the north... both Acton and Deerfield fair have them....... we also have "moxie", lobsters, frappes and all kinds of other good stuff...... :-P
