Last Summer Days

I have been on vacation this week, which has been wonderful! I have gotten tons of things done at home, taken long walks with my pups, and spent lots of time with my family!!

My week started at camp. We went to the Acton Fair and spent time sitting by the camp fire at the lake. The weather has been beautiful, nice and warm with that hint of fall in the breeze.

On Wednesday Nate, Sadie, my parents and I took Abbie and Naomi to play mini golf. Neither of the girls had ever played before, they had a blast. Abbie some how got a hole in one on the first hole! The rest of the time she just rolled her ball (and every one elses into the hole). They both had a blast! After our game we hit up the arcade where we some how got 720 tickets on games. (because Nate is really good at those games!) the girls came home with so many random little prizes!!! It was a great way to spend the evening.

Yesterday Nate took the day off and we played tourist. We are supposed to be on vacation right now in Prince Edward Island Canada, but Baby here kind of sent our financial plans in a different direction, we opted to stay home, save money and get things done. Nate goes back to school next week so it's been nice to get some of the house projects done. We needed at least one day to just enjoy though, so we took off and just drove up the coast. We stopped in Wells at our favorite donut shop for breakfast. We did a little shopping and site seeing in Kenebunkport. We spent a little time at Old Orchard Beach and then ended the day at Cabela's. It was fun to just drive around, we commented many times on how we always want to get away, but we forget that we already live in such a beautiful place! One silly tourist thing we did was stop at a candy shop that said they had the world's only life sized moose made from chocolate. We were driving right by so we had to stop! Sure enough... 1,700 pounds of chocolate make up this guy!

Today's plans are to FINALLY finish our deck and I'm going to tackle the soon to be baby's room. Right now it's kind of our catch all room with boxes of things to donate and what not.... time to do some cleaning and get the room empty to paint!!!!! I am 14 weeks, one day. We are dieing to know what the baby is, my next doctor's visit is not until September 11th and we have a bit to go before we get to find out what it is, but everything seems to be fine. My belly is growing, I've felt what I think is those little flutters you feel at the start of the baby moving and most of my clothes no longer fit!!
