One of the things Nate and I have been looking for here in North Carolina is a good church. I have one at home that I love attending and we just could not seem to find one down here that begins to compare with it. Our wonderful friends Mandi and Patrick or as we call them... "team Matrick" go to a little church in Trenton. It's kind of a long drive from where we live, but it is as close to a "home" church as we can find.

Pastor Jeff is a young guy with five children and he is also pretty new to the church. I guess the church was starting to fall apart so he started to pastor it to try to bring some more people to it. It's grown a lot since we started going in November. There is a big mix of older people, young families and couples like us! There are few other Marine families and one couple whose son is a Marine. We really like going there and have even started to look forward to the drive out
there... we pass so many abandoned farms, and so many working farms! It's WAY out in the country... but it's something we look forward to every Sunday.
