Six little blessings

Some days you just have to go to bed counting you're blessings.... It's been one of those days....

I woke up this morning at 6 and went for a peaceful rainy run... Blessing number one.

Came home to shower and talk to my awesome husband before he left on a camping trip with his friends. I went to rush to my shower so Nate could watch Reagan before he left, he told me not to rush mike was running late. So I showered, we got bagels for breakfast and ate them together while Reagan took his morning nap... Breakfast with my husband on a Friday...Blessing number two.

While we were waiting on mike Nate's dad called.... (My dad works for nate's dad) to tell us that my dad just rushed out of work because my mom called him saying her heart was racing and she felt really light headed. My mom never, ever, complains. She never goes to the doctor even when she really should... So this was not at all normal and we were worried. Mike showed up to pick up Nate... Nate had been wresting with weather or not he should leave because of my mom. We didn't know what was going on and he was camping where he wouldn't have great cell service so he really didn't want to be gone and out of reach if this was serious. I kept telling him to go and after a lot of back and forth he felt in his heart he should stay... Late friend so we heard about my mom before Nate left and a husband who always puts his family first... Blessing number three.

We spent most of the day at home together playing with Reagan and got a random Friday lunch out together since Nate had the day off to camp but didn't go... Extra unplanned time with my husband... Blessing number four.

Turns out my moms heart was in a-fib. They ended up having to cardio avert her... She's spending the night in the hospital but she is feeling much much much better and was smiling and laughing at Reagan when we went to see her tonight. Im going to meet her for brunch tomorrow... A momma who is going to be ok and Saturday brunch with her... Blessing number five.

Lastly Nate will leave to go camping tomorrow but this was going to leave me with out a car... Insert awesome in laws who dropped their plans to come visit my mom and are letting me borrow a car.... Amazing in laws...Blessing number six.

For a day that didn't go the way we planned in any way, shape or form... It sure was full of God's grace, love and perfect little blessings.
